Just a quick note....

Will I ever be caught up?
Probably never.
But I try.
That's for sure.
For the last 3 days I have been using my sewing machine to quilt a baby blanket for Dyllan's 1st grade teacher who is due in July.
It was my first real quilt and I finished it an hour before I had to pick up Dyllan from school.
I think 3 days is pretty good for a first time, huh?
I promise to post a photo of it here this weekend. :)
My husbands out of town work trip got cancelled so that means I get to go to "stamp camp" tonight!
Yea!
Just a bunch of woman who love to create with stamps and making crafts.
It's held at Debra's Cottage in Costa Mesa- a darling store if you are ever in the area.
So in a few ...I need to pack my supplies for the craft tonight, then take a quick shower before getting out some fabric to make fabric scrap cuffs for Dyllan's 1st grade class mates.
*Complete with their first name initial.
I think that will be a fun parting gift for his friends, don't you agree? -& Yes I'll post those photos this weekend too! :)
Tomorrow - school gets out at 11:50am. Early!
I'll be posting on my blog a "Celebration" themed craft for The Robins Nest.
Then Dyllan and I will be heading to our local mall for a much earned trip to the "Build a Bear" workshop. We can't wait!
Then home so I can prep for class I'm teaching to my scrapbook/altered art group coming on Saturday. We are making a mini travel book and I'll be selling extra kits in my shop after the weekend.
