( feel free to click on any photo's for close up's!)
~ We started off October making a pizza.
Here's our little helper!
Spreading the sauce!
~ Adding the cheese
Layering the pepperoni...what you don't see is, as he's putting on the pepperoni, he's helping him self to some! One for the pizza...one for me!
Ready to bake!
~ All done!
Yum!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~I took Dyllan to Disneyland to see some festive happenings. Here in Woody's roundup we saw some amazing pumpkin carvings,
~ ate most of it.
went on a bunch of rides and then this.
Every little girl dreams of becoming a Princess at Disneyland...
But every little boy wants to be a Jedi.
~ They chose about 25 kids, decked them out in robes and light sabers. Dyllan's first time and he gets put right on stage next to the Jedi Master with a british accent.
The first part of the show was the master showing the kids how to do the Jedi moves with the sabers and to listen to commands.
~ Dyllan did Awesome!
Then all the kids get hustled off stage as the center part of the stage dramactically rises up.
~ Two Storm Troopers march out to protect Darth Vader and Darth Mal.
Half the children fought Darth Mal at ground level and the other half fought Darth Vader up on the stage, with Dyllan being first. Gulp!
But he did Great! and followed all the commands of the master even ducking when Darth Vader took a swipe at his head.
Later I said he did a good job following the commands and he said, "Yea, that's because I listened."
I also told him he did great ducking and he said,
"If you don't duck, Darth Vader will give you a hair cut!"

We went to Disney's California Adventure with my friend Buffi and her little friend Addy.
Here is Buffi clowning around with Dyllan.
~ Catching a peek of Disneylands fireworks at the end of the night. Both are tired and Dyllan had just smashed his finger in the door of the bathroom stall.! poor little guy.

Did a Halloween ATC swap with my Fiskateer friends...
These are the ones I sent in.
I used a green souffle pen by Sakura.
I highly recommend trying their pens if you have not!
I'm already in love with their glaze pens and now these!
Here are the cards I received from my friends!
~ Here is Dyllan Drawing his first Jack-O-lantern!
I LOVE how his sits right in his drawing to get a better feel for it!

Another ATC swap with my Fiskateer friends. This one is a Hunted house theme and we had to include a ghost. Once again, I went crazy with the souffle pen!
It's just so addicting!

~ The ones I received back!
Mine I made for me...
So on to another Jack-O-lantern.
with confidence from the first, this one by far is my favorite!
~I drew the little ghost and other pumpkin.
~I drew the little ghost and other pumpkin.
I'm upstairs working in the studio. Dyllan is playing downstairs. He comes up and begs me to come see his newest "creation". I look over the rail not sure what I'm supposed to see and but say, "Wow! that's great!" .
"No Momma," says Dyllan, "You have to come downstairs to see it!"
So this is what was waiting to greet me at the bottom of the stairs...
...he made a Clone Trooper from empty boxes, a waste basket and a mask!
all by his 4 year old self!

Next a ATC swap I did with a yahoo group.

I just received this legit candy advisory through e-mail from a friend who is a Nanny.
Please send this message to everyone you know that has kids who are going to be going out for Halloween!
With Halloween fast approaching comes a warning to parents and kids regarding Sherwood brand Pirate's Gold milk chocolate coins imported from China.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to eat, distribute or sell the candy. It is sold across Canada by Costco and may also have been sold in bulk packages or as individual pieces at various dollar and bulk stores.
The chocolate contains melamine which is the same chemical responsible for killing several babies in China, and sickening thousands more.
You can confirm the details here.
I did take pics pf Paris To the Moon, but I'll post those next month!
Also about next month, or should I say next week, come back to vist for the following...

That's one BIG post! You've been an ATC making queen! See ya tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteMy son would have loved the Jedi Academy. But I don't think he would have been able to face Darth mal. He's a very cautions child.
ReplyDeleteAll of your Halloween tags look great as usual.
Cute, cute ATC's. And I will have to try the Souffle Pens...I'm loving the Glaze pen too!
ReplyDeleteOh man! We are HUGE Star Wars fans in our house! My family would have freaked to see that. Dyllans creation is the BEST!
ReplyDeleteLoving all of the ATC's you have made too.....and Paris Underground!! Man I want to go! Too bad I live SO far away and too bad they are closing :(
