Homemade Play Dough

Last December I made play dough for Dyllan to give to his Kindergarten class mates.
I packages them up and then let Dyllan make all the individual tags using my water color pencils and stickles.
He liked using my watercolors so much that I got him his own high quality set, water brush and water color pad for Christmas!

Here is the recipe if you want to make play dough too!

-->
Traditional Play Dough
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • food coloring
Mix all ingredients, adding food coloring last. Stir over medium heat until smooth.
Remove from pan and knead until blended smooth. (might be hot!)
Place in plastic bag or airtight container when cooled.
Will last for a long time
