100th Post for 2010 - Giveaway!

This marks the count for my 100th post for this year! That means since My 1st post on June 15th, 2007...I'm at 614 posts! I do roughly 150-200 posts per year, and I'm thinking that maybe by the end of next year I'll be able to celebrate my 1,000th post? :)

So on to the giveaway....My scrapbook /altered art group is having a local Craft & Hobby garage sale at my place at the end of June. And since then, I've been filling up my garage with things to sell!
And as you can see I have a lot of stuff!
So for my giveaway...as I sort, I will fill a pretty good sized box (12X9 4"deep) with "studio de-stash".
For your chance to win, comment here with idea's you have found that work to store your stuff. Earn a extra chance to win by linking to your blog or flickr to show photo's of your organization!
If I pick you (by random # generator) and if I can't contact you because your blog profile is private or you did not leave a active e-mail addy, I will promptly pick another winner.
I will pick someone Monday Morning. Good luck to you! and good luck to me in sorting my stuff!

  1. i found that tall clear jars work best for buttons and ribbon and pencil cases (hard plastic ones) work great for floss! still don't have the best solution for my paper though LOL :D

  5. I am re-doing my space right now and I just bought one of those paper racks that stores use as fixtures. Also, I am going to put up a wood shelf above my crop table since I live in such a small place. Good luck on organizing!

  12. I use a combination of solid metal and metal wire shelving, backets, and shelf organizers to get the most out of my 10 x 20 space. For small items, I use spice jars and some IKEA jars my assistant gifted me with. Also, ANY vintage jar is fair game to hold rocks, scrabble tiles, game pieces, and whatever else crosses my mind.

  14. That is going to be one fabulous Garage Sale with all of those goodies.
I love using Glass jars and clear plastic storage containers with lids. I love to see what's in things so I can just grab what I want and not have to open a million boxes looking for something

  15. I hoard a lot of ribbon too - so using old clothes airers and an old wooden play pen, taken apart pieces...they are hung on the wall and boy do they give a beautiful display of colour and texture!!

  16. I like the small plastic or metal storage units with the tiny drawers for small images buttons, letters etc. I LOVE the 4 unit open topped tackle boxes from walmart, they have a carry handle, ans then you can stand them on their side when not being carried and each unit pulls out like a drawer, and each unit is one of those compartment-ed containers they sell in the bead isles at mike's etc.

    Good luck at your sale!

  17. I would love to be in your garage sale. I'm in the same boat, I have tonnes of supplies and running out of room. I also have my annual garage sale. I keep my unmounted on a photo binders (4x6); I use tackle box for my charms, punch outs and buttons. My magazines are stored in binders with the plastic inserts or in the magazine boxes.
