The head of Charity Wings is my good friend Elena Lai Etcheverry. She is SO talented, sweet, kind and a true friend. I'm honored to know her and contribute to her events whenever I can. It's the least I can do for all her hard work. Please sign up for the Charity Wings Newsletter! So much great stuff!
Here she is sporting some stunning wings created by Grace Lauer. Whom hand cut the fringe on each individual feather! Do you see the sparkling chandelier crystals she put into the wings?
And with a quick pull of a cord, the wings expand!
Here are some other wings that were designed for Elena. I just love anything vintage keys, don't you?
Fresh from a LIVE Artist Chat, Grace, Elena, Jillian and Me :) |
I was included in one of the many LIVE chats at CHA. How fun! You can see them here.
Grace Lauer has a amazing inspirational blog.
Jillian Vance is a new young designer. She started her own paper crafting business at age 10, and now has her own line of clear acrylic stamps!
Eileen Hull was also part of our chat and I wanted to share some past projects I've done for her using her dies.
This Owl tote was created recently with this Flower Petal die.
You can see my tutorial here. Eileen has a New line of dies called "Sweet Treats" available for shipping this June! You can see some of it here.
I made the following craft aprons for Charity Wings giveaways at CHA!

ReplyDeleteAll the combinations are cute, but I like combo #3 the best with fabric rubble. Thanks for a chance to win an apron.
ReplyDeleteI definitely love those wings Elena was wearing. So sad I missed you on Live at CHA because it was on Monday and I was at work.
ReplyDeleteThey are all adorable, but I would vote for #4 (because I'm a purple girl) or #5...both with fabric ruffles.
ReplyDeleteYou re so creative! Love the 1st one!!!
ReplyDeleteMichelle, all of the choices are so cute- my fave is #5 though... Thanks so much for the mention on your blog and also showing all those cool Sizzix projects- I love them all over again! Off to FB and spread the word of the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love #1. It would be an adorable apron! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
