You are Invited to a Faerie Garden Swap!

Do you love all things miniature, the magic of Faeries or just reminisces of your childhood?
If yes, then you must join the first Faerie Garden Swap of its kind!

I personally love, love, love Faerie gardens and all miniature things of any kind.
I delight in keeping my inner child alive and creative. :)

This swap is open to anyone who ***"Believes***.

Use e6000 to firmly secure kitty's, birds and other wee creatures to other objects.
The theme is "In the Garden".
Count 10+1 and matching ATC's.
Due May 31st.

This swap is now FULL.
See current participant list here.

(Tutorials for making Faerie garden items will be posted weekly,

For a possible group publication, while you are working on acquiring your miniatures, please keep in mind the materials/supplies you use.  Please send with your miniatures places you purchased your miniatures.

Do you work in clay? make a mini hanging pot to later fill with a bit of succulent!

To sign up, I will need:
  • Your Name
  • Mailing/ Shipping Address
  • Blog or Website if you have one, not required.
  • A short 3-4 line Bio. The bio will be included with ANY swap (of mine) you participate in the future.
- I only need this if you are new to swapping with me.

Press a leaf into some clay to make a swing, bird bath or even a resting spot. Be sure to seal your creations for outdoors use.

What to include with your Miniatures

  •  Please individually wrap or place your miniatures in small zip lock bags  or ATC bags along with your name and contact info.
  • Please design a ATC  to go along with the theme of the swap.
 ATC's are  2.5"x3.5" or 64x89mm.
ATC's usually are made of a sturdy chipboard backing to ensure safe mailing. I like to recycle cereal and cracker boxes for ATC bases. In the past I used to score and cut each card on my paper trimmer. I went through quite a bit of blades this way! But then I discovered this die by sizzix. It's a life saver if you plan to make a lot of cards. I have also made my ATC's with painted vinyl, soda cans, fabric, .....
Craft stores carry a line of Trading card sleeves, envelopes and baggies meant to keep them safe till swapped.
Learn more and see past examples of ATC's here.

 Don't have a outdoor garden?
Fill a dish on the table with dried moss or fake greenery and have a little fun!

Don't be intimidated by how many items you need to swap, think of this as your introduction to something you've always wanted to do!
