I won!

~ Twice!
Feels good to be appreciated once in awhile. I think I give more than I give to myself (or my shop), but it's all good especially when little ole' me get's something too!
Susan had a RAK on her blog and I got this beautiful custom made necklace! Don't you just love the freshwater pearls and bird pendant? She's got some new and beautiful Valentine goodies in her shop, go here to see more!

Next I recieved the "You make my day Award" from Heather!

~ So who to pass this on to?
I'm going to say Zakka Life Because her craft idea's always make me smile! And please check out her current Valentine craft! So clever!

Something we can "all" relate too!

Gonna miss this place... Movieland Wax Museum

~ Brian,Dyllan (a baby then) and I visited The Wax Museum in Buena Park, Ca on the very last day it was open to the public. October 31, 2005
~My favorite Home food place, "Po' Folks" happens to be next door to this empty sad piece of history. The following pictures were taken on December 30, 2007 after lunch.
Knowing that the wax pieces were auctioned off and some moved to the other location in Hollywood,Ca, I wonder what they will do with these stones.

(feel free to copy any images for your personal use!)

Going out

Today I'm going to the Long Beach Flea Market!
I'm going with my friend Pam and Dyllan, to which he will sit in a stroller that has space to store my stuff!

I'm going light this time in what I'm looking for. Mostly there to look around and get lot's of idea's.

So when we get back, I promise to upload all my pic's!
From past swaps and current, even projects I'm working on!
I'm sure they are burning a hole in my camera anyways!

Everyone have a great weekend! I'll see you you soon!

Sad Story

~ Just finished the movie. Will definitely watch again with note book in hand to sketch idea's for art and costumes!
~The story line was a little weird, but then I'm glad they did not put her whole life's worth in it! Her story is so heart breaking and tragic all the way to the very end.
~ In watching the film, I felt de javu' as if part of me lived that life once upon a time.*

I'm still a little sad but looking forward to watching it again for the eye candy!
