My OC Fair Entries

The OC Fair starts July 13th! So if you go, look out for my entries in the Arts and Crafts division.

Here's what I entered;

Fair Theme, hand craft~ Captured Surfer in a Jar. ( recentley taught this in a class through my scrapbook group)

Recycled Materials~ a Whimsical Paper Crown ( some of the unique materials used were, .. paper napkins, window screen, vintage paper)

Papier Art~ Collage. (I made a collage of photo's)

Rubber Stamping and embossing~ Scrapbox. (I created this box by layering stamped images using a Medallion stamp)

Decorated Scrapbook, %50 handmade~ Altered Journal. ( I re-worked something I used for a class and added more personal touches.

Happy Fathers Day!

Well a couple of hours a go it was still Fathers Day! For Fathers Day we took a little hike, just the 3 of us to the new Nix preservation on Laguna Canyon Road- hwy 133 ~ www.lagunacanyon.org/

We went to Barbara's lake and back. It was nice, especially since we also enjoyed Bruggers Bagels and Starbucks for breakfast!

Afterwards we can home and vegged out before heading off to meet some family members for pizza and fun at Chuckee Cheese. We had a good time!

I made the little Brag book out of old slide mounts and punched the hole using my crop-a-dile. I figured it was small enough to fit on my husbands desk at work.
