Tissue Paper Transfer Cards
One of my favorite things to do when creating cards, is to use common household items!
I love showing people that you don't need to spend much money to making something beautiful.
Ready? Lets create!
Supplies used:
- Petals and Flowers By: Michelle Frae Cummings
- Medallions Ornate Patterns By: Michelle Frae Cummings
- Ink pads in coordinating colors
- White gift wrap tissue paper
- Saran or plastic wrap
- 2 large pieces of parchment paper
- A iron set to cotton, no steam
- A heat proof surface
- Cardstock paper
1. Your tissue paper will have 2 sides. A slightly glossy side and a matte side. Place the tissue paper matte side up onto a large piece of card stock. The card stock will absorb any excess ink while you are stamping.
2. Randomly stamp all over the tissue paper, with the various stamps and coordinating ink pad colors.
3. When you have finished stamping, Place one piece of parchment paper onto the heat proof surface.
4. Next place your card fronts. If you don't have room for more than 2 cards, consider making a bookmark or small tags instead of wasting the tissue paper!
5. Carefully lay down the plastic wrap over the cards. Its ok if there are few wrinkles in the wrap- you won't see them in the end.
6. Lay your stamped tissue paper onto the plastic wrap. It doesn't matter the its matte or glossy side up.
7. Lastly, place the 2nd piece of parchment paper on top of the stamped tissue paper.
8. Quickly iron over the parchment paper. Make sure to get all the card corners.
9. Remove the parchment paper and trim off the excess tissue paper and plastic wrap from the cards.
10. Trim the cards slightly to fit on a card base.
11. For good measure, before finishing your cards, sandwich your trimmed cards in parchment paper and iron quickly to set any loose areas.
12. Adhere to your card blanks and then create some more!
So much fun, right?

A few more strips of washi tape were placed on the card before I added decorative detail with the liquid smooch.
Stamp the winged skeleton and the saying onto the back side of the vintage newsprint paper.
Cut out and color lightly with the smooch.
I added a criss-cross of washi tape to the center of the card before adding the skeleton with foam tape.

Blank Page Muse April Challenge- Blue Fairy Card
Hi Everyone!
This months group challenge on the Blank Page Muse blog is "Black and White. + One Color".
My interpretation of the theme is this Blue Fairy card. Enjoy!
- Corset Wire Dress Form Stamp
- Small Butterfly Stamp
- Dandelion Burst Background Stamp
- Black ink pad
- Turquoise ink pad and marker
- Turquoise crepe paper
- Black and white cardstock
- Double stick tape, adhesive and foam tape.
Cut your card to size and ink the edges with the turquoise ink.
Stamp the inner white card with the Dandelion stamp and adhere to the a piece of black cardstock.
Mat this onto your inked card front.
Stamp the dress form with black ink twice onto white cardstock. Trim just the corset from one of the stamped images, keeping the other one whole.
Stamp the butterfly with the turquoise ink twice. Cut them out and then in half.
Ready a 2 ½ " x 6" piece of crepe paper for later.
Adhere one set of the butterfly wings to the back of the dress form before adhere to the card.
Place pieces of tape at the lower part of the corset and add the crepe paper, pleating it as you press it into the tape. Cut off any extra crepe paper.
Glue the remaining butterfly wings to the dress form, directly over the existing wings.
Add small pieces of foam tape to the dress form as shown. Place the corset on top and color in with the marker.
Thanks for coming by to see my card! I hope you like it!

Nopales Cactus Card

Here's a cactus card I made with Rinea foil!
Supplies needed:
- Emerald/ Gold Glossy Foiled Paper
- Violet/ Gold Glossy Foiled Paper
- Fushia/ Fushia Starstruck Foiled Paper
- Large gold glitter
- Pencil and scissors
- Quick drying adhesive
- Blank card

Cut a 1" strip of the emerald foiled paper and fold 7 times. Trace and cut out the cactus pad shape. Cut a 1/2" strip of the fushia and fold into small squares. Trace and cut into 10 small hearts.

Glittery Owl Thank You Card
This is my first post of the year for Blank Page Muse, formerly Sin City Stamps.
Every month on the 10th, all the Inspiration team members will participate in group blog hop.
Each month, the hop has a theme.
The theme for this months hop is Turquoise, silver and sparkle!
For my project, I made up this glittery, shimmery owl card.
Enjoy!
Supplies:
- Blank Page Muse Stamps- Nothing But Owls (My stamps!)
- Blank Page Muse Stamps- Medallions (My stamps!)
- Blank Page Muse Stamps- Thank You
![]() |
- Blank card plus white cardstock cut to size of card.
- Ink pads- Turquoise, Pink, Purple and Black
- Make-up sponges
- Inka Gold- Turquoise, Violet and Silver
- Tsukinko Champagne mist ink
- Glue pen and water brush
- Glitter and bling
- Black pen
1. Ink the cardstock square using the make up sponge and turquoise ink.
2. Ink the card edges.
3. Use the sponge to add pink onto one side of the card, follow up with the purple ink.
4. Use the sponge to ink the card edges in some purple.
5. Use the water color brush to add the turquoise and violet inka gold to the card.
6. Stamp the Medallion with each color ink onto the card.
* To create the 'fading' effect, once I stamped the image with fresh ink, I stamped again elsewhere on the card with what ever ink was still on the stamp, this created a 'faded' effect.*
7. Repeat the same process with the Thank You stamp.
8. Use the black ink pad to stamp your Owl and Branch.
9. Accent Owl and Medallions with the silver inka gold.
10. Refresh some outlines with the black pen if desired.
11. Adhere the painted card to the front of your blank card.
12. Accent the border of the card with champagne mist ink.
13. Finish your card with glitter and bling!
Don't like glitter? Here's another version of the same card!
