Welcome to "Home For The Holidays!" A blog hop sponsored by The Robins Nest and Helmar!
We were asked to create something that makes us feel at home for the holidays. To me, seeing brightly decorated votive candles makes me feel like Christmas is almost here. I love the dancing flame and the way the colors sparkle brightly.
To make the tea lights you see above, you will need empty clean baby food jars.
The following glorious papers from The Robins Nest...
Silver on Creme, White on White, and Gold on Creme.
I decorated the jars with these magical Dew Drops - also from The Robins Nest!
Belgian Chocolate mini dews, Red dews , Sunny Yellow , Pool , Mowed Grass, Red Diamond dews, and Red tear drops.
To adhere the dew drops to the jars, I used Helmar 450 Quick dry Adhesive.
I used a border punch, hole punch and little punches to decorate the strips of paper. I attached the paper to the baby food jars with strong double sided tape.
Then I used the Helmars glue to adhere the dew drops to parts of the jar where I had punched holes.
I used a little bit of gold, blue and green glitter glue to accent the jars, matching the dew drops and paper.
Once dry I put a battery tea light in each one so you can see how pretty they look!
I hope you like my "Home For The Holiday" creations and are inspired to make some of your own!
I think these will look pretty in any part of the home, even on a bedside table. :)

How cute are those! Very jeweled and sure to cast a wonderful glow!
What a great idea. They'd be a wonderful gift for the teacher and the kids would love "bejewelling" them. Also super party favors, a line of them for a centrepiece on the dining room or buffet table. Stocking stuffers....yup, I'm making these. As a bonus they recycle stuff too.
I have many baby food jars stored away just for an idea like this. Those are beautiful.
