With a little bit of sewing, a few patches and some cheery buttons,
you can make a pot holder with hanging kitchen towel.
This is one of those projects that is so clever yet probably the most useful item in your kitchen!

You will need the following:
Gwen Studios Embroidered Lemon Lime Iron-on Patch Applique, Yellow and Green
- A decorative kitchen towel with a pot holder to match.
Lay your kitchen towel, still folded, flat and place the pot holder on top, aligning both centers.
Sew the pot holder to the towel along the dotted line.
Sew the pot holder to the towel along the dotted line.
Iron on your patches using directions on the package.
Cut off the pot holder loop and add your own with some polka dot ribbon.
Mark where you want the button to go and hand stitch in place.
Add more ribbon if desired.

My dish towel had cherries so naturally I had to accent them with some red buttons!
