I wanted to make a quick bag for my Mom with out a lot of extra fuss. I purchased the plain canvas bag from a craft store. The I cut out some pretty fabric.

I applied a layer of
Mod Podge Gloss Luster to the bag, where I wanted the fabric cut out to be. Then I carefully placed the fabric on the glue and smoothed out any air bubbles.

I added two coats of the Mod Podge on top of the fabric, spreading the glue onto a little bit of the canvas for a secure seal. Once it was dry and not sticky to touch, I wrote Dyllan's Grandma with dark blue puffy paint.

Not every project I make is over detailed. Sometimes just a little detail can be more than enough. :)
