Hooray!

I missed seeing this in the theater, so I'm now really excited to own it! I've heard mixed reviews re: the story line. This I'm ok with since it's the costumes I'm mainly interested in! I can't wait to watch it..sketch book in hand!

My first impression was, this is a a story told in pictures, beautiful, sumptuous, luscious pictures. I thought Sophia Copolla did a lovely job of telling their story, and it was clever of her to use modern music in the soundtrack. They were, afterall, teenagers. I think you will love it and don't be surprised, if like me, you find yourself craving Laduree macaroons. The costumes were inspired my the color of those delicious Parisian macaroons.
