Tulip Beads in a Bottle Giveaway!

For July, i Love to Create has released a brand new product- Tulip beads in a Bottle!
30 designers were chosen, and asked to create something to help inspire you!
In turn, Tulip is hosting a FABULOUS giveaway on their blog!
Beads in a Bottle is a self-rounding fabric paint that you can use to create beads on a fabric surface. So beautiful! So fun!
I created two items.
#1 -a over sized Poppy hair clip.
It's huge, (6"x6") but gorgeous!
I used raw canvas as the base and cut out 4 shapes. I painted the poppy first with shades of water color and permanent markers for details. Then I added the Beads in a Bottle. Once they were set, left alone over night, I added a quick sealer so the water color would stay. I assembled the flower and added a hair clip underneath. :)
Visit the i Love to Create blog for a video tutorial.
#2- a (almost) no sew cuff!
I measured my wrist with a piece of cereal box. Then I cut a piece of black felt for the inside and some black patterned fabric for the outside. Using some super strong fabric glue, I adhered the felt and fabric to the cereal box strip, trimming the edges with pinking shears. While flat, I used the pattern on the fabric to be my guide for the Beads in a Bottle. Once the beads were dry, I created the clasp with a vintage glass button and a loop of elastic.
So edgy! I love it!
THIS is the amazing prize package that Tulip is giving away!
