~ This is a Rocket Ship Craft that I actually did with Dyllan last wed. but thought I share it with you today since it's such a cold wet day! I got the idea from a Martha Stewart Kids Craft magazine I picked up in the check out of the grocery store. There are
alot of cute craft idea's in there using recyled stuff. I highly recommend the mag. to any one with kids!

~ So here are the basic materials: 1/2 a cardboard tube from wrapping paper, scrapbook paper, a cone from our snow cone machine and some craft foam.

~ We mostly used a circle punch to get the circle shapes, but I also had Dyllan help me with the rest. ( he just l
oves to cut paper!)

I covered the cone in plain paper and then adhered the punched out shapes to the tube with packaging tape. I stuffed a bunch of tissue paper down the length of the tube and then rounded it at the top. I put alot of glue on that and put the cone on top, holding for about a minute till it was stuck enough to move onto the next step.
Dyllan helped me punch out the stars from a prismatic self adhesive sheet. We put those stars on the rocket top and put some packaging tape over them for good measure.

~ I got these punch out letters from walmart! We used a "D" for Dyllan.

I cut a slit in at the bottom of the rocket and put in a piece of the craft foam, then added iridescent cellophane for the "flames"!
